Influence of Zhigancao Decoction and Active Components on Triggered Activity and Action Potential by Histamine in Guinea Pig Papillary Muscle

Abstract:

Zhigancao Decoction is a famous traditional medicinal formula. At present the decoction can treat the arrhy-thmia in clincical practice. By using standard microelectrode techniques to guinea pig papillary muscle, Zhigancao Decoction (40mg·ml^-1) and active component (1.36 mg·ml^-1)could prolonge the shortening of APD₅₀ and APD₉₀ and reduced the incidence of triggered activities (EAD,DAD and TA) by histamine (200μmol·L^-1).
