Experimental Study on Therapeutic Mechanism of Kaiyu Qingwei Granules in Reducing Blood Sugar

Abstract:

To study the mechanism of Kaiyu Qingwei Granules in reducing blood sugar in STZ diabetes rats,blood sugar in STZ diabetes rats was determinated by one-touch Ⅱblood sugar instrument.The level variations of insulin,glucagons,cortisol,motilin,insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1) and the absorb function in small intestine were measured by radioimmunoassay (RIA) and dextroxylosetest,respectively.Results showed Kaiyu Qingeci Granules could reduce the level of blood sugar and cortisol in STZ diabetic rats,and increase the level of IGF-1 and motilin.It did not obvious effect on body weight,insulin,glucagons and the function of glucose absorb in small intestine.
