Protective Effects of Shenfu Qiangxin Capsule on Acute Heart Failure in Dogs

Abstract:

Objective:To study the protective effects of shenfu qiangxin capsule(SFQX)on acute heart failure in dogs.Methods:The acute heart failure model were prepared by injection of pentobarbital sodium via vein.The cardiac hemodynamic parameters,such as HR,BP,LVSP,dp/dt_(max) and LVEDP were observed by physiological polygraph.Results:SFQX is effective to attenuate the heart failure induced by pentobarbital sodium.After treatment,the HR,BP,LVSP,and dp/dt_(max) are increased significantly,LVEDP is lowered,and the LVMCF is enhanced.Conclusion:SFQX possesses the protective effects on acute heart failure induced by pentobarbital sodium in dogs.
