Abstract:Objective: To study on chemical constituents from the leaves of Lonicera japonica. Method: The compounds were isolated by column chromatography and identified on the basis of physic-chemical constants and spectral analysis. Result: Seven compounds were obtained and identified as diosmetin(1), quercetin (2), tricin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (3), quercetin-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(4), rutin(5), loniceroside A (6) and loniceroside B (7), respectively. Conclusion: The seven compounds were obtained from the leaves of L. japonica for the first time.
