Objective: To study on solubilization of dihydromyricetin(DMY) by hydroxpropyl-β-cyclodextrin(HP-β-CD). Method: Inclusion of HP-β-CD on DMY under different temperatures was investigated by phase-solubility method.The content of DMY was determined by HPLC. Result: With increasing of HP-β-CD in aqueous solution,solubility of DMY increased linearly,which showed typical AL-type phase solubility diagram.The molar ratio of DMY and HP-β-CD in the inclusion complex was 1:1.The apparent stability constants of inclusion reaction at 25,35,45℃ were determined as 500.0,944.8,2 449.8 mol·L-1,respectively. Conclusion: The solubility of DMY was improved remarkably by HP-β-CD inclusion.
