Objective: To optimize flocculation clarification technology of Sangshen Bunao creams. Method: With the rate of impurity removal, the retention rate of stilbene glucoside and polysaccharide as comprehensive evaluation indexes,taking the degree of concentration,pH value,temperature and chitosan dosage as factors,L9(34) orthogonal test was adopted to optimize flocculation clarification technology of Sangshen Bunao creams by comprehensively weighted grading method. Result: Optimum flocculation clarification process conditions were as followings:water extraction liquid concentrated to 1:2,flocculation temperature of 50℃,per 100 mL concentrated solution plus 1% chitosan solution 10 mL,pH of 4. Conclusion: This flocculation clarification technology was feasible and stable with high rate of impurity removal and high retention rate of active ingredients.
