Abstract:Objective: To investigate the effects of Zingiber officinale carbo on coagulation function and thromboxane B2(TXB2), 6-keta-prostaglandin F1α(6-keto-PGF1α) in asthenia cold and blood deficiency syndrome Rats. Method: Eighty SD rats were randomly divided into 8 groups: normal control, model, small, medium and large dose groups of Z. officinale carbo. The model of asthenia cold was made by oral administration of rhubarb for 10 days. After 6 days of model, the normal control group and the model group were ig given normal saline.Z. officinale carbo groups were given the Z. officinale carbo decoction at different doses (10,20,40 g·kg-1) daily for 5 days.Blood deficiency syndrome was made by the orbit blooding method. 1 h after lasting administration, blood samples were collected to detect the serum levels of thrombin time(TT), prothrombin time(PT), activated thromboplastin time(APTT), fibrinogen(FIB), d-dimer(D-D) and TXB2/6-keto-PGF1α were observed. Result: Z. officinale carbo could effectively shorten TT(P<0.05), PT(P<0.05), APTT(P<0.05), increase the contents of FIB(P<0.01), and decrese the contents of D-D(P<0.05), increase the level of TXB2 (P<0.01) and decrease the level of 6-keto-PGF1α(P<0.01). Conclusion: The mechanism of Z. officinale carbo may affect the coagulation and the level of TXB2 and 6-keto-PGF1α.
