Objective: To explore the effect of Simo decoction on gastrointestinal function and brain-gut peptide in serum of patients with non-gastrointestinal postoperative. Method: To use randomized, double-blind and double-dummy study.72 cases of gynecologic tumor surgery were randomly divided into observation group and control group. The observation group was given Simo decoction and domperidone placebo, control group was given domperidone and Simo decoction placebo. Observed postoperative recovery of gastrointestinal function and serum cholecystobinin(CCK) and leptin level changes after treated 5 days. Result: The postoperative bowel sound recovery time and first flatus, defecation time in observation group significantly earlier than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05 or P<0.01). After treatment, the level of serum CCK and leptin declined in observation group, the difference was also statistically significant(P<0.05 or P<0.01) compared with before treatment. Conclusion: Simo decoction can promote non-gastrointestinal postoperative recovery of gastrointestinal function,it may be associated with the regulation of serum CCK and leptin levels change.
