Objective: To study the germplasm resources of Trichosanthes kirilowii. Method: The experiment was analyzed by using the technique of peroxidase(POD) isozyme. Result: The results show that obvious differences exist in the number of bands,Rf and amount of POD isozyme.The enzyme spectrum own 10 species, divided into five compartments. Ⅰ and Ⅴ are distantly related to other 3 species。Ⅱ,Ⅲ and Ⅳ are closed to each other. Conclusion: POD isozyme patterns can be a useful marker for genetic diversity of T. kirilowii from different regions.
