Abstract:High Performance Liquid Chromatography coupled with Mass Spectroscopy(HPLC/MS)was applied to compare two kinds of active fraction A of Guizhi Tang,single-directional thermoregulation sample and dual-directional one.Mass-to-charge ratio(M/Z)of MS and HPLC responds were used to obtain the fingerprint chromatography and identify both of the distinctions.The substances base of dual-directional thermoregulation of active fraction A of Guizhi Tang was discussed at the first time.

Abstract:The concentration of ephedrine and pseudoephedrine in rabbit's blood were determined by HPLC method after rectal administered with xiao'er xiaochuan gel.The rectal administered was used by the venous intubation on rabbit's rectal mesentery in vivo. The excipients and osmotic-promoting regents were screened by the blood concentration of above markers.The optimized prescription were made up of oleic acid and azone as osmotic-promoter,and eudragit as excipient.

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of BuYanHanWu (BYHW) Tang upon infarction,vessel damage penumbra (VDP),fibrinolytic system activity and endothelin.Methods:BYHW Tang consists of two parts,invigorationg Qi section (IQs) and promoting blood flow section (PBFs).To utilize the model of cold photochemical initiation of thrombosis to observe the effects of the whole of BYHW Tang,IQs and PBFs,respectively,on infarction size,VDP size,degree of vessel damage,localized cerebral blood flow,plasma tissue plasminogen activator(t-PA),plasminogen activator in hibitor (PAI) and plasma endothelin content.Result:BYHW Tang influences all indexes significantly.IQs and PBFs both have the actions of limiting infarction size and degree of vessel damage,promoting of cerebral blood flow and inhibiting PAI activity.On the other hand,reducing the size of VDP and increasing the activity of t-PA by BYHW Tang come mainly from IQs,and the effect of reducing ET content is based on PBFs.Conclusion:The IQs is emphasized in the priscription of BYHW Tang.It can enhance the activity of fibrinolytic system and reduce the VIP size.The result hints BYHQ Tang is not only formulated for stroke caused by deficiency of Qi,but also effective for the treatment of ischemic stroke.

Abstract:In febrile rats induced by fresh yeast,Guizhi decoction could cut down body temperature with weakening AC activity and descending cAMP content in hypothalamus.On the other hand,in hypothermia model induced by aminopyrine,Guizhi decoction could go up body temperature with strengthening AC activity and increasing cAMP content in hypothalamus.The results indicate that Guizhi decoction may regulate body temperature in dual-direction by means of effecting AC activity and promoting or inhibiting hypothalamus intracellular metabolism of cAMP,a febrile medium in center.

Abstract:To study the effects of GeGen Decoction(GGD)in preventing and curing adjuvant arthritis in rats.The results showed GGD(8.2,16.4g/kg,ig)could significantly inhabit primary acute inflammatory swelling and secondary in flammatory reaction by oral administration of GGD three days before modeling.And the level of PGE2 in joint fluids of secondary arthritis could also decrease.The results indicate GGD can prevent and cure adjuvant arthritis in rats.

Abstract:Objects:To investigate the influence of herbage containing serum of HuangLianJieDu Tang(HLJDT)on LPS or TNF-α induced neutrophil-endothelium adhesion and its anti-inflammation mechanism.Methods:Based on the model of Human umbilical vein endothelial cell(HUVEC),Rose Bengal Stain was used to study the influence of herbage containing serum of HLJDT on LPS or TNF-α induced neutrophil-endothelium adhesion by pretreated HUVEC4h、12h、24h.Results:The results showed the seram of 1.5h group can decrease cells adhesion by pretreated HUVEC with serum only,but all serum can decrease LPS/INF-α induced cells adhesion by pretreated HUVEC with serum and LPS or TNF-α.Conclusion:The herbage containing serum of HLJDT can decrease the neutrophil-endothelium cells adhesion,inhabiting neutrophil transude from vessel,which may be one of its anti-inflammation mechanisms.
