Abstract:The qualitative identification of astragalus,radix notoginseng,radix paeoniae alba and rhizoma coptidis in weiyanxiao tablets were analyzed by TLC method.The contents of ginsenoside Rg1 were determined by TLC scanning method.The average recovery and relative standard deviation were 98.8% and 1.46% respectively.

Abstract:The quantitative determination of isofraxidin in Xiaoyanling tablets was established by HPLC method.HPLC conditions as fellows:column:Intetsil ODS-3(5μm,4.6mm×250mm),mobile phase:CH3CN-0.1% phosphorus acid solution(20∶80).The average recovery and relative standard deviation were 99.4% and 1.32%(n=5)respectively.The method was convenience and reliable.

Abstract:To study the effects of Siwu Tang on the mice of blood deficiency induced by cyclophosphamide,we employed the methods of circulating blood cells detection by microcellcounter,flow cytometric enumeration of CD34+ himatopoietic stem and progenitor cells by double fluorescent labeling.The results showed Siwu Tang promoted the recovery of stem and progenitor cells and circulating WBC on the blood deficient mice,and enhanced immune function.proliferative effect of Siwu Tang on bone marrow may play a key role in improvement of hematopoiesis with Siwu Tang treating blood deficient mice.

Abstract:To observe the nourishing Yin action of Six-Ingredient Rehamnnia Pill (SIRP),Thyroxin (ig) was orally administrated to rats for 3 weeks in order to induce kidney yin-deficiency model of rats.Results showed SIRP markedly decreased the heart rate,plasma viscosity,serum T3 and T4,copper,the ratio of copper to zinc,and the intake of water,increased urine output,body weight,blood sugar,pain threshold,Index of thyroid and serum IgG contents.The dose-dependent relationship was significant.SIRP showed significant nourishing Yin action on kidney yin-deficiency rats induced by hyperthyrea.

Abstract:After Cortex Acanthopanacis Radicis Injection was administered to mice of nephrotoxic serum nephritis,the serum albumin was increased,urinary albumin,serum urea nitrogen and serum total cholesterol were decreased,together with the decreasing tendency of serum creatinine.The result shows that the injection has certain therapeutic effects on nephritis.

Abstract:To observed the therapeutically effects of Jiangni Decoction (JND) on chronic renal functional failure (CRF) induced by adenine in rat. Sprague-Dawley rats fed balance diet containing 0.4% adenine for 4 weeks. We respectively determines the content of the Middle molecular substances (MMS) in serum and the excretion of urinary β-D-Galactosidase (GAL-ase) after treatment with JND. Compared with the pathological model group, the content of MMS in serum and excretion of GAL-ase in urine were markedly decreased in the JND group. The results showed that JND may play an important role in the improvement of rat with CRF.

Abstract:To observe the effect of Yufeng Tang(YFT) on preventing delayed neuronal death (DND) worsened by EAA, we used cerebral isocheimal reperfusion model, explored effects of YFT on SOD activity, MDA levels in serum and hippocampus of rats following 6,24,168h after reperfusion was researched. Reperfusion 168h later, cerebral ischemia was observed with light microscope and electron microscope. Result showed YFT enhanced SOD activity, reduced MDA levels in serum and hippocampus, prevented and treated DND in some degree.

Abstract:Geng Sai Tong(GST) was orally administrated to dogs, rats and mice. Then the volume of blood flow in carotid and intra-carotid of anesthetic dogs, and in carotid of anesthetic rats was determined. The water content and the blood vessel permeability of the brain of rats with brain ischemia were checked, The living time of mice under the condition of brain ischemia and without oxygen, and the time of blood coagulation of mice was also checked, The results showed that GST can markedly increase the volume of blood flow in the brain of dogs and rats, and can significantly decrease lift of the water content and the blood vessel permeability of the brain of the rats with brain ischemia, and can markedly prolongate the living time of mice under the condition of brain ischemia and without oxygen and the time of blood coagulation in mice.

Abstract:To explore the preventive and curative mechanism of Jianpijiangtang Solution(JS) on diabetes rats and its chronic complications, we observed the effect of JS on blood sugar,blood rheology changes, serum nitric oxide(NO) and plasma endothelin (ET) of diabetes rats induced by alloxan. The results showed that JS could improve the blood rheoligy, decrease blood sugar and plasma ET level, and raise serum NO level. The effects of JS on NO and ET are of great importance in diabetes rats and its chronic complications.

Abstract:Objective: To evaluate the therapeutic effects for radioactive lung-injured patients by qingzhaojiufei decoction. Methods: Therapy of qingzhaojiufei decoction as test group, and that of hormones and antibiotics as control group. Results and conclusion: The total effective rate had significantly difference between two groups (P<0.01). Treating radioactive lung-injured patients by qingzhaojiufei decoction was better curative effect than that by hormones and antibiotics.
