Abstract:Objective:To establish the quality of Bantushengfa granules.Methods:The content of main component,2,3,5,4′-tetrohyoxystilbene-2-O-β-D-glucoside,was determined by HPLC.The mobile phase consisted of acetontrile-3% acetic acid water solutoion(12∶88) and UV detection wavelength was 320nm.Result:The average recovery and RSD were 99.33% and 1.74%,respectively.Conclution:The method is accurate,reproducible and can be used for content of Bantushengfa granules.

Abstract:Obective:To develop a HPLC method for determining Hesperidin in the Compound OPG Tablet.Method:The sample was sonicated for 30 min.The contents were determined by HPLC,with a C18 column a molile phare of methanol-water (41∶59) and detection wavelength at 283nm.Result:Hesperidin has a good linearity in the range of 0.05658~1.13μg,Y=2637.54768X-7.43358,r=0.9999,The average recovery is 104.94% and RSD=2.37%(n=5).Conclusion:The method is sensitive,reliable and speedy.It can used for quality control of Compound OPG Tablet.

Abstract:Objective:To study the fingerprints of the radix notoginseng.Method:Nova-Pak? C18 column was used,with mixture liquid of acetonitrile and water as mobile phase in a gradient mode.The wavelength of measurement was 210nm.Result and Conclusion:The standard fingerprint of the radix notoginseng has been gotten.The method is simple and reliable.

Abstract:To determine codeine in Qiangli Pipa Lu by HPLC method.The liquid chromatography was carried out using a Phenomenex C18 column (150×4.6mm,5μm).The mobile phase was composed of 0.05mol/L potassium dihydrogen phosphate-acetonitrile (94∶6).Detection wavelength was 210nm.The average recovery was 99.9% and the RSD is 1.6%.The method is accurate,sensitive and reproducible.It can be used for quality control of Qiangli Pipa Lu.

Abstract:Objective:To establish the quality control methods for Jieyuzhitong Granules.Method:Rhizoma Cyperi、Radix Paeoniae Rubra、Rhizoma corydalis、Radix scutellariae in Jieyuzhitong Granules were identified by TLC.The paeoniflot in Jieyuzhitong Granules was determined by HPLC.Result:The studies on the quality control showed that the characteristics for identification by TLC were distinct.The quantification method had the linear range of 0.214~1.070μg.The average recovery was 99.66% and its RSD was 0.71%.Conclusion:The quality stuandard of the Jieyuzhitong Granules were established.The methods were simple,reproducible and realizable.

Abstract:To investigate the effect of Yiqi Huoxue Prescription on lipid,haemorheology,lipid peroxide (LPO),nitric oxide (NO) in the experimental hyperlipidemia rats,a hyperlipidemia rat model was established by feeding high Lipid diet.The rats were randomly divided by body weight and the level of blood lipid.After 6 weeks,blood samples and livers were collected and determined as above.Results showed Yiqi Huoxue Prescription can effectively decrease the level of TG TC LDL-C and raise the level of HDL-C in the experimental hyperlipidemia rats compared with the model group.Yiqi Huoxue Prescription can also decrease the haemorheologcal parameters,decrease the total viscosity,blood plasma viscosity,hemaocrit and the content of fibrinogen.Yiqi Huoxue Prescription can reduce the lipid peroxide and reduce the content of MDA in liver.Yiqi Huoxue Prescription can increase the content of NO in blood plasma and decrease the endothelial injury and protect the endothelial function.

Abstract:Objective:To study the effects of nutrition blood flow of cardiac muscle in mice by different extracts in Radix Ophiopogonis.Methods:The Rb86 mice model was used.Results:The total saponins and total polysaccharides in Radix Ophiopogonis can increase nutrition blood flow of cardiac muscle in mice.Conclusion:The total saponins and polysaccharides in Radix Ophiopogonis could be main effective fractions protecting myocardial ischemia.

Abstract:To further highlight Guizhi Tang's mechanism of dual-directional thermoregulation,the 15-PGDH activity in pyretic and hypothermia rats was detected using isotopic tracing assay.A decrease in PGDH activity paralleled with a pronounced rise in body temperature in rat hypothalamus 5.5hr after a s.c. yeast-injection was observed and both the responses was counteracted by the treatment of Guizhi Tang orally in a dose-dependent manner.Aminopyrine induced a tendency to enhance PGDH activity and a marked drop in body temperature meanwhile in rats 1 hr later,but there was a poor relation between changes in body temperature and in activity of PGDH evoked by Guizhi Tang.Present data suggest that PGDH in hypothalamus may play a role in thermoregulation in rats and is also a target of antipyretic action of Guizhi Tang,but it probably does not contribute to anti-hypothermia action of Guizhi Tang.

Abstract:Aim: To further explore the molecular mechanism of antipyretic action of Guizhi Tang, the differences on the protein expression in hypothalamus of fever rats induced by yeast were analyzed preliminarily. Methods: Both the quantitative and qualitative changes of the protein expression in hypothalamus were compared between the model group and treated group with Guizhi Tang using two-dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Results: There are obvious differences in expression of some proteins with a percentage of 2.3% among distinguishable spots. They changed mostly in volume and rarely in isoelectric point, of which, eight proteins (Mr/pI:28.9 kD/4.47,24.4 kD/6.28,25.4 kD/6.39,25.9 kD/6.39,17.6 kD/7.38,17.2 kD/7.43,24.9 kD/7.39,26.9 kD/7.59) enhanced in abundance, six proteins(Mr/pI:14.3 kD/4.83,28.5 kD/4.39,16.2 kD/4.11,15.3 kD/6.7,30.5 kD/7.09,30.5 kD/7.13)showed lower expression and one (Mr/pI:14.8 kD/5.4) changed in isoelectric point. There was no unmatched protein spot. Conclusions: The changes in expression level and modification of some proteins may contribute to the antipyretic action of Guizhi Tang.

Abstract:Aim:Effect of Naochuangning on memory and endothelin content in rats with open cerebral laceration was studied.Methods:The methods of opening skull and free falling body was used to cause open cerebral laceration in rats.The memory was determined in Y type water labyrinth,and the content of endothelin(ET) was detected by radioimmunoassay(RIA).Results:Naochuangning remarkably improve intelligence and decrease ET level in serum.Conclusion:The result indicated that Naochuangning had the therapeutic effect on open cerebral laceration in rats.

Abstract:Aim:The effect of Xiaohuang Granule on No on Experomenal Jundice Rats was studied.Methods:The jaundice model of rats was produced by oral administration of ANIT. The changes of NO,ALT, TBil,GGT and pathology of hepatic tissue were observed.Results:Xiaohuang Granule improved the NO level and other indexes.Concluslon: Xiaohuang Granule can reduce content of NO,by which inhibition on the toxicity of hepatic cells and promotion of bilirubin metabolism may be achieved.

Abstract:Objective:To Investigate the effect of Lyke Granule on simian immunodeficiency Virus(SIV) infection model. SAIDS model were used. Using monoclonal antibody label on CD+4 and CD+8 cells in PBMC with direct immunofluorescence,the percentage was analyzed by flow cytometry and analyzed CD+4/CD+8 ratio. T and B cells proliferation induced by mitogens was defected before treatment and after treatment with Lyke Granule. Results indicate that Lyke Granule enhanced the proliferation of T and B cells induced by motogen,CD+4 T cells were increased in PBMC and CD+4/CD+8 were changed.

Abstract:Objective:To study the inhibitory effect and mechanism in Heps of mouse with Shuang Ling Fuzheng Kangai Capsule(SLFKC). Method:Mouse model of the solid tumor and ascitic cancer were established.The inhibitory rate of solid tumor and the life prolongation rate of ascites cancer were observed.The cell cycle and apoptosis of the solid tumor cells were measured by Flow Cytometry(FCM). Results:SLFKC(15 and 30g.kg-1.d-1) had significant restraning effect on Heps of mouse and the life of ascites cancer bearing mice was also prolonged. SLFKC could decrease the number of cells in S and G2-M phase and increase the number of cells in G0-G1 phase and the number of apoptosis cells. Conclusion:SLFKC has inhibiting effect on Heps of mouse. The anticancer mechanism was probably related to the synthesis of DNA during S phase,the interference with the speed of cell proliferdtion,and inducement of the apoptosis of cancerous cells.

Abstract:Problems and prospects on the compatibility of complex prescription in the experimental study were discussed in the paper from following aspects:experimental design,study of pharmacology and pharmacochemistry. It was suggested that TCM theories be emphasized in experimental design with observation of multiple indexes.The pharmacological study should be combined with the study of chemical components,and experimental study should be combined with clinical trial.

Abstract:To summarize the domestic and International studies on chemical components, pharmacological activities and clinical applications of paeoniaceae,we consulted more than 70 domestic and international literatures and sum them up.The conclusion are as follows: the main active components of paeoniaceae are monoterpene glycosides,phenols and tannins;the pharmacologocal investigation shows that paeoniaceae possesses the effects of immune regulation, protecting liver, anti-tumor anti-microorganism and so on.

Abstract:The quality control system of Chinese compound priscription and routine evaluation methods are to control the content of major ingredients in the prescription.It is not prefect from the point of chemical substances.The ratio relationship among components related to certain pharmacological effects in prescription should be considered in the quality evaluatuion of Chinese compound prescription.The quality evaluation system of Chinese drugs,which were used accoding to the guidance of TCM theory,should accord with clinical practice of TCM,i.g. follow the logic of correlativity between prescription or drug and syndrome treated,and the integrated analysis based on modern disease and traditional syndrome.
