Abstract:Objective:To obtain the optimal cellulase hydrolysis extraction process of Folium ginseng by Central Composite Design/Response Surface Methodology.Methods: To extract ginsenosides from folium ginseng by adding cellulase digestion process.The parameters of enzyme hydrolysis action is divided into independent variables including pH value,water volume,the ratio of enzyme/the amount of herbal,and dependent variables-the extraction rates of ginsenosides,Linear or nonlinear mathematic models were used to estimate the relationship between independent and dependent variables.The response surface methodology was used to optimize the conditions of extraction.Prediction was carried out through comparing the observed and predicted values.Results:It was showed that the coefficient of correlation of second-order quadratic model was high.The correlation coefficient reached 0.940.The optimum conditions of extraction were obtained.The optimum condition was pH 4.8,24 times amount of water more than material medica,and enzyme/substrate was 40U/g.The observed values and the predicated one of extraction ratio was 6.29%and 6.37%.Conclusion:The observed values and predicted one are close to each other,which prove that the optimization of cellulase digestion extraction process of ginsenosides from folium ginseng by Central Composite Design/Response Surface Methodology is reasonable and successful.

Abstract:we determine different producing areas and different parts of Pterocephalus hookeri by FTIR.The results of determination showed that there are great distinctions between roots and aerial parts of Pterocephalus hookeri.FTIR can be used as an assistant method to help identify Pterocephalus hookeri.

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the changes of the activity of CREB in both fever and hypothermia Rats and the mechanism of thermoregulatory action of Guizhi Tang.Methods:The activity of CREB in hypothalamus in both fever and hypothermia rat pretreated with Guizhi Tang were measured via spectrophotometric method.Results:The pCREB activity in both model rats,especially in fever rats,enhanced,and treatment with Guizhi Tang counteracted the rise of pCREB in fever rats but not in hypothermia model.Conclusion:CREB may participate in the thermoregulation in rats and reduction in CREB may contributed to antipyretic action of Guizhi Tang,while the hypothermia production may be independent of CREB.

Abstract:Objective:To study the protective effects of shenfu qiangxin capsule(SFQX)on acute heart failure in dogs.Methods:The acute heart failure model were prepared by injection of pentobarbital sodium via vein.The cardiac hemodynamic parameters,such as HR,BP,LVSP,dp/dt_(max) and LVEDP were observed by physiological polygraph.Results:SFQX is effective to attenuate the heart failure induced by pentobarbital sodium.After treatment,the HR,BP,LVSP,and dp/dt_(max) are increased significantly,LVEDP is lowered,and the LVMCF is enhanced.Conclusion:SFQX possesses the protective effects on acute heart failure induced by pentobarbital sodium in dogs.

Abstract:Objective:To observe the effects of prescription of treating both Qi and Blood,Qi Regulating Drugs and Blood Activating Drugs on lipid metabolism,vascular active factors of rats,compare the difference between the three agents.Methods:To establish the rat hyperlipemia and blood stasis model,rats were given stress with high lipid food.Plasm lipid,vascular endothelia function and hemorheology were observed in the three groups.Results:Compared with control group,all the three agents can significantly depress TC and LDL-c(P<0.05,P<0.01);Qi-blood group and drugs for regulating Qi group can reduce TG,compared with control group there is markedly difference(P<0.05,P<0.01).Qi-blood group can significantly decrease TC/HDL ratio(P<0.01).Compared with control group,Qi-blood group depressed endothelin(ET)level(P<0.01);Qi-blood and blood groups markedly reduce angiotensin Ⅱ(AngⅡ)level(P<0.05,P<0.01).Qi-blood and blood agent can depress blood viscosity,restrain platelet aggregation ratio and erythocyte aggregation ratio.Conclusion:Qi-blood prescription and its Qi agent and blood agent can play various roles in targets relevant with a therosclerosis,the compatibility of Qi and blood agent can increase certain effects.Blood agent show more obvious effects in hemorheology than Qi-blood prescription and Qi agent.

Abstract:Objective:Investigate Danzhi Jiangtang Capsule's effect on peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γ(PPAR-γ)mRNA's expression in greater omental adipocyte in insulin resistance(IR)rats which were induced by low dose of streptozotocin(STZ)and high calorie food.Methods:Male Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal group、model group、greating group.The rats of normal group were fed with common food while the others with high calorie food and injected with low dose of STZ.Fasting plasma glucose(FPG)level and fasting insulin(FIns)level of all rats were measured by routine methods,and insulin sensitivity index(ISI)was calculated accordingly.At the end of experimental treatment,the total mRNAs of greater omental adipose tissues were extracted and the genic fragments of PPAR-γ were amplificated in order to detect their expression levels.Results:Danzhi Jiangtang Capsule could reduce the FPG level and FIns level in model rats,increase the PPAR-γ mRNA's expression and enhance ISI effectively.Conclusions:Danzhi Jiangtang Capsule can ameliorate IR conditon of the model rats and its mechanism is probably related to its effect of enhancing the genic expressional level of PPAR-γ.

Abstract:Objective:To observe the curative effect of Ganneng Dropping Pills on ducks transfected by DHBV.Methods:The Beijing ducks of one day age injected DHBV(iv) were feeding Ganneng Dropping Pills of different dose concentrations(125、250 and 500mg/kg) two times a day,then observe the influence of this drugs on DHBV-DNA and on the toxicity to ducks seven days later.Results:The middle-dose concentration(250mg/kg) showed apparent curative effect on ducks,and the high-dose concentration(500mg/mL) showed definite effect,while the low-dose concentration(125mg/mg) showed no inhibitory effect on DHBV.Conclusion:Ganneng Dropping Pills have curative effect on ducks in vivo transfected by DHBV.

Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the effects of sesamin on contraction of aortic ring,NO and ET in rats with renal hypertension.Methods:Sesamin(100、33、10 mg·kg-1·d-1 was orally given in renal hypertensive rats.The responses to phenylephrine on isolated aortic rings was recorded and the levels of NO and ET were measured in aorta after six weeks of treatment.Results:100mg·kg-1 sesamin could reduce maximum contraction,increase the content of NO and decrease the level of ET(P<0.05).Conclusion:Sesamin can inhibit aortic contraction and improve vascular endothelial cell impairment.

Abstract:Objective:To observe pharmacological effect of Longbi xintong granule.Method:We observed the analgesia effect of the granule by acid induced wristle and hot-plate induced pain in mice.Its anti-inflmmatory effect was tested in xylene caused mice ear edema,cotton caused granuloma hyperplasia in rat,and carrageenin caused paw edema in rat.Its antimicrobial effect was tested in vitro and vivo in mice.Results:Longbi xintong Granule could significantly reduce the wristle reaction times in mice,prolong the latent time of reaction on hot-plate in mice.It could significantly inhibit the ear edema caused by xylene in mice,granuloma hyperplasia caused by cotton and edema of paws caused by carrageenin in rats.Longbi xintong Granule could significantly reduce the content of PGE2 in paw tissue and serum,and could significantly reduce the content of MDA in paw tissue in inflammatory rats.It could inhibit capillary permeability and improve the antimicrobial activity in vivo and vitro.Conclusion:Longbi xintong Granule has obvious effect on analgesia,anti-inflmmation and antibiosis.

Abstract:Objective: To observe the effects of Hongtao Detumescent Heji(HDH) on activating blood circulation and anti-inflammatory.Methods:The effects of the HDH on blood viscosity,platelet aggregation and thrombosis of rabbits were observed.anti-inflammatory action was investigated through experimental arthritis of rats and capillary vessel permeability of mice.Results:The HDH could reduce obviously the blood viscosity,inhibit platelet aggregation and reduce thrombosis of the rabbits,restrain experimental arthritis of rats and lighten capillary vessel permeability of mice.Conclusions:The HDH could promote blood circulation to remove blood stasis and anti-inflammatory.

Abstract:Objective:To introduce the advance of the preparation process and pharmacyology of Carboxymethylpachymaran(CMP) in recent years.Methods:The literatures on the preparation process and pharmacyology of CMP were summarized.Results:CMP could be preparation by fermentation-alkohal-deeping,dilute-base-extracting,water extraction and lkohal-deeping and Macrowave extracting.CMP has the effects of anti-tumor,immunoenhancement,nourishing liver and hypnosis,fighting against senium,anti-herpes simplex virus,antiinflammatory action and eliminating calculus.Conclusions:the preparation process of CMP is maturate and its pharmacology action is wide.
